The Thai money is the "Baht". The name "Baht"
comes from the Thai name for the weight of gold still used today..
One Baht is subdivided into 100 Satang where 25 Satang are called
a Salueng.
All coins and banknotes carry the face of His Majesty, King Bumiphol
and should be treated therefore with respect,
